The attraction of the soil to the inside of the surfactant micelle helps loosen the soil from its surface. Once the soil lifts off the surface, it becomes suspended in the water in the micelle. This suspension is also known as emulsification of one liquid into another.
 
Micellar water works by using tiny spherical structures called micelles to lift dirt and oil from the skin's surface and then are washed away by the water.
 
A micelle is generally constructed by a thin monolayer of lipid monomers arranged within a spherical configuration. On the other hand, the lipid bilayer is described as a critical nanostructure that is generally made of an amphipathic molecular bilayer oriented in circular rings.
